The Michigan League for Public Policy released the 2024 Kids Count in Michigan Data Profiles Wednesday, highlighting positive trends, as well as areas that could use some improvement.

This data will be presented at the MLPP’s Champions for Kids luncheon Wednesday in Lansing. The event will not only celebrate the release of the data profiles, but also, explore strategies that will help Michigan’s kids and families thrive.

6 News anchors Jorma Duran and Megan Viecelli talked with Kids Count in Michigan Director Anne Kuhnen about the data and some possible solutions that aim to improve the lives of the youngest Michiganders.
