A network of city halls, schools, churches and civic organizations is taking shape as Downriver prepares for the 2020 census.

At the state, county and local levels, officials and volunteers are enlisting in a collaborative effort to spread the word about the upcoming headcount. The goal: To boost participation on Census Day, April 1, 2020 – the once-in-a-decade date when every person living in the United States is asked to submit a census form by mail or online.
